Our first adventure in Houston (after packing of course) was going to Wicked! I looked for Broadway shows in Houston as soon as I knew we were moving and it happened to be on right when we were coming. So we figured we would go for our anniversary. We went out to The Olive Garden then drove downtown, and it started to pour! It was so hard we could barely see out the front even though we had the windshield wipers going as fast as they could. So walking to the theater I got my feet a little wet--even though the walkways were all covered. : ) That was our first big Houston rain experience. It will start pouring out of nowhere for 20 mins and then it will completely go away and sometimes get sunny again. It is crazy! Anyway, Wicked was amazing! The cast was awesome, and I thought this Glinda was even more ditzy and "blond" than the first time I saw it--which of course made it better! : ) John even loved it. He kept saying how great it was, and all I could say was "I told you so." ;) So over all it was a great night!
Hahaha! I can just see John saying how good it is and you saying, "See! I told you it was good. You thought it was going to be so horrible, but it's not. And now you know." Y'all are the greatest.
